This week in pre-build, we were thrilled to welcome an authentic, Italian, family-owned business, Cotswold Cardillo, as they previewed their very first Shell Smart exhibition stand.
It is always exciting to show a business their exhibition stand for the first time, but this instance was particularly special, as it is Cotswold Cardillo’s first-ever trade fair.
We loved catching up with Clara and Nonna Pippi. We also have two Italians in our marketing team who were very pleased with the authentic Italian biscotti. Having tried both the Pistachio & Bergamot and the Hazelnut, Apricot & Coffee Biscotti, we can safely say that Cotswold Cardillo is a must-visit at IFE!
Cotswold Cardillo & IFE
Cotswold Cardillo is an Italian company that blends the finest ingredients from the Cotswolds and Italy with Italian craftsmanship to create beautiful dishes. The Conte-Cardillo family founded the company in 2018 and has since brought its cherished artisan goods into UK markets.
The Cotswold Cardillo team will be exhibiting at IFE. The show is the leading event for product sourcing in the food and drink industry! It is part of Food, Drink and Hospitality Week at ExCeL London, running alongside the Pub Show and The Hotel, Restaurant & Catering Show. The Exhibition Stand Design
Cotswold Cardillo used our Shell Smart solution, which combines shell scheme panels with our stand-alone system. With artisan food brands, it is crucial for the brand story, quality and craftsmanship to shine through as these are the key differentiators from other market competitors.
This exhibition stand design, paired with the high-quality materials gives this stand a luxury feel, even though it is fairly small. By using Shell Smart, which is a hybrid between a standard shell scheme and a full transformation, the team were able to maximise the width of the stand space, whilst incorporating height and bespoke showcases with lighting.
Clara loved our design and kept much of it the same. Below are the original ideas, by one of our lovely designers, Toby Weatherston:
Shell Smart can also be reconfigured, and additional structures can be added or removed to suit varying stand spaces.
For example, for their next show, the Cotswold Cardillo team will reconfigure from an inline booth to a corner exhibition stand.
Working with Quadrant2Design | Cotswold Cardillo
Clara Cardillo, the Director of Cotswold Cardillo, shared some lovely insights on the experience working with Quadrant2Design.
As a first-time exhibitor, she really appreciated the support she received from her Design Consultant, Tracey Jordaan. Clara shared:
It will be the first time we will do a trade show, and having a team behind you that will help you with literally everything and anything is a massive help.
Clara particularly enjoyed the pre-build experience, as she was able to trial shelving heights and the placement for each product.
Coming here to trial everything, taking a picture and video to do exactly the same setup on the day is 100% what we wanted.
She was also very happy with the final look, and the quality of the exhibition stand.
We don't have to worry about anything. So yes, I would recommend you 100% to anyone. The quality, the style - it is exactly as expected. I saw on the 3D render, and that was exactly as expected and it's brilliant. I was confident from the first time that I did choose the right company to work with. But this makes me happy, we're really happy.
In Summary
It was an absolute pleasure to have Cotswold Cardillo at our pre-build studio.
