ICRTouch Brand Ambassador, Tony Franklin, discusses the value of a Quadrant2Design exhibition stand, emphasising its flexibility, sustainability benefits, and the memorable design that creates a lasting impression at every show.
About ICRTouch
ICRTouch is a global leader in EPoS development, primarily working with the hospitality and retail sectors! The company was born and bred in the beautiful Isle of Wight and now boasts over 14 products and 40 employees, working across stunning premises.
ICRTouch was among the earliest EPoS developers, having released its first software in the early nineties! Since then, the company has seen exponential growth. Even as an industry leader, ICRTouch gains great brand awareness and traction from exhibitions. Tony shared:
The investment in shows has been more important than ever. Our image is good and the brand-awareness is good, so it's a no-brainer really.
The Brief
When ICRTouch first started exhibiting, they opted for a custom-built stand. The stand was a “learning curve” for the company, as it proved to be expensive and single-use. Following the experience, ICRTouch decided that flexibility and sustainability were non-negotiable for any future exhibition stands.
On their new stand, ICRTouch envisaged integrated showcases with lighting, to make new products stand out. The brief called for straightforward and informative branding in their orange and navy colour scheme. They also required two self-service kiosks for product demonstrations, which needed to be positioned on either side of the exhibition stand.
Service Plan | Buy-to-Self-build
ICRTouch attends around six shows a year, often showcasing new and exciting products and software advancements! As the company attends many events and has a practical team on hand, they were most tempted by the self-build option. This plan offered value for money and complete freedom over when and where to exhibit.
Tony shared:
Self-build was a good route for us. It was just the control factor that we felt if we own the stand, we can store the stand, we can then deliver it ourselves, we have it installed ourselves. In other words, we're in control!
Obviously there's more logistics for us to work out; getting to the show on time, installers etc. But, it's been absolutely perfect, a very good route for us.
The Exhibitions
We mentioned that ICRTouch attend many exhibitions each year – here are just a few that have made their calendar.

Design Proposal
We knew we were the perfect match for ICRTouch as our stands pack a punch, and modularity allows for significant flexibility across a range of events. Not to mention, our reusable exhibition stands are the most sustainable option on the market.
Based on the brief, our design consultants and CAD Team created an impactful exhibition stand design, featuring ICRTouch’s signature colours and important messaging.
Design Developments
The initial design was a hit and provided the team with a clearer vision of what they wanted. As the design process is consultative, we are always happy to do as many renditions as necessary to get the design right. With just a few tweaks to imagery and structure, the design was perfect and could be sent to production!
Exhibition Stand Training
As this was a purchase stand, the next step was the stand-building training! Tony joined us here at our premises in Poole, where he spent the day learning how to install his exhibition stand.
Tony reflected on the pre-build process:
Anybody that knows me would tell you I am not a DIY man. Fortunately for me, I haven't got to be a DIY man because all of a sudden it all just fell into place.
Exhibition Stand Reconfigurations
ICRTouch was very pleased with their initial purchase, it has enabled them to create a range of stand configurations and layouts without sacrificing sustainability.
This year, they purchased additional panels, which have created even more opportunities for reconfiguration. Here are a few of the previous stands!
Tony touched on the importance of flexibility:
One of the reasons we chose Quadrant2Design and the modular effect, was we liked the fact that the structure can be more or less designed how we want, and then the panels can be changed because we know we're gong to develop, have new innovations. We didn't want a bespoke stand which would be a new re-build every time.
The Exhibition Stand
ICRTouch were absolutely thrilled with their final stand. Not only is the stand memorable and impactful, but it is easy to install, offering complete exhibition freedom without sacrificing sustainability.
The partners really enjoy the stand. They're very proud to be a part of it. It looks innovative, it looks clean, it looks modern - it represents us well!
Looking Forward to Future Shows
ICRTouch has no doubts regarding the importance of in-person events, with two shows left for 2025 and many shows already booked in for 2026!
Exhibitions are now a major part of our strategy. We have already booked shows in 2026, which gives you an idea of our confidence in the shows!
