A full pre-build is the ultimate quality-check for your stand. Without it, you risk having errors on event day. Quadrant2Design fully pre-builds every single stand, before every exhibition. However, it’s not just the pre-build that’s important. A fundamental part of the exhibition stand design and build process is to choose the correct stand components. This is where picking lists come in!

Why do we pre-build?

We pre-build exhibition stands months in advance to leave ample time for resolution if any issues arise. We do not take risks on exhibition stands, and we will never build at the event, without a pre-build beforehand.

Without pre-build, clients could end up with exhibition parts missing or broken, which would be disastrous for business.

Additionally, pre-build gives clients the chance to come and visit their stands ahead of the event, to see where products will go, and to test stand features.

Picking Lists with Jack Gallaher

We always aim to be as transparent as possible about our exhibition stand design and build process. Every step matters. Attention to detail and watertight systems are crucial to guarantee your exhibition stand build is perfect. This extends to the picking list.

Picking lists are a crucial preparational step for pre-build! The list details the components for a specific stand. Each exhibition stand that we produce has a unique picking list, as no two of our exhibition stands are the same.

The picking lists follow on from our accurate CAD plans. They require technical expertise as they lead to the structural integrity of each stand. As our experienced installers choose each of the components, they run a quality-check to ensure each stand has only the best materials.

After the Picking List

Once the components are selected and ready to go, they are placed in an allocated space in our showroom, divided by walls. Once the stand has been fully pre-built, everything within the walls goes to the exhibition!
