Quadrant2Design’s CAD designer, Teagan Williams-Tate, and Design Consultant, Lauren Squire, led a tour of the Aviation & Defence Spares (ADS) exhibition stand and features.

Who is ADS?

ADS (Aviation & Defence Spares) is a global leader in aviation product supply, providing essential spares across the aviation industry. The exhibiting team attended the Farnborough International Airshow 2024 from the 22nd until the 26th of July!

Farnborough International Airshow is the world’s leading airshow, offering unparalleled networking and business opportunities for those in the industry!

The Exhibition Stand Features

ADS exhibition stand at Farnborough Air show 2024 by Quadrant2Design

This exhibition stand is an impressive 7.5m x 7.5m and hosts a plethora of features that help maximise return on investment. Some assist with visibility, while others catch eyes or assist with networking!

Edge-Lit Acrylic – This feature is ideal for logos, branding and simple messaging. The desired image is engraved into acrylic and positioned in front of an LED strip. The technique creates a floating logo or message that catches the eye and draws in visitors. Many of our exhibitors place these alongside walkways to gain more foot traffic!
Lockable Showcases – Perfect for high-value display items; lockable showcases have a clear-fronted display but still allow for peace of mind with two secure locks.
Lockable Printed Showcase – This feature is just like the lockable showcase except, it features a printed graphic front. The printed showcases blend well with graphics, while still providing secure storage.
Private Meeting Room – Private meeting rooms are perfect for formal business discussions, converting leads, sharing exclusive offers and sharing sales presentations.
Tablet Holders – Tablet holders can be incorporated into the exhibition stand structure to make event day simpler.
Rotating Header – Ensure 360° visibility throughout the exhibition hall with a branded rotating header!
Counters – These function as reception points, guiding visitors to experts. However, they can also be used for storage or product display.

Other Useful Design Features

ADS made additional changes to the stand this year. The right wall graphic is new, and features all of ADS’ partner brands! This is possible because our system is modular and reconfigurable so panels can be added or removed for a desired effect.

This stand is also paper and literature free for sustainability. Instead, the stand utilised a QR code on the graphics for prospective customers to view and download materials.

I’m pleased to say that everything went very well, and our on-site team were very happy with the exhibition stand. In particular, they said how the new graphics freshened the stand up and made a big difference compared with the last show we did.
Regarding my experience this time; as usual, the timelines provided were clear and well managed throughout. Communication from our project manager and the wider team was also consistent and reliable, which of course made the process clearer from start to finish.
Overall, it was another positive experience, and I appreciate the work from everyone involved.

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you—there’s been a lot to catch up on in Dublin following the show.
Overall, I was very pleased with the exhibition stand, and it received great feedback from both colleagues and visitors.
We have provisionally booked a similar exhibition space for next year, so we are hopeful the stand can be reused in 2027 without the need for a redesign.
