Last week, we shared our recent visit to Seawork 2025, where we discussed all things Sustainability. This week, we have the exhibitor insights to follow!
Seawork 2025 is the UK’s largest on-water commercial marine and workboat exhibition. The show takes place each year at Southampton’s Mayflower Park, uniting the industry to explore marine renewables, technology, safety, marine construction, vessel build and more!
Sustainability has been a core focus in both of our videos, as sustainability is extremely important to exhibitors and organisers at this show. Seawork is not only a proud partner of Big Blue Ocean Cleanup, but also recommends and favours the use of sustainable exhibition stands.

Energy Solutions (UK) supports the marine industry in finding sustainable power and control systems that cater to their requirements! They are well-established in the industry, working with leading OEM boatbuilders, superyacht owners, boat yards, and individual sailing motor yachts.
We had a wonderful catch-up with Mark Penny, the Commercial Director at Energy Solutions UK, who reflected on the importance of sustainable exhibiting as a sustainable company.
What we do for the Marine Industry is all about sustainability, reducing emissions and providing those systems that can do that for the client. We developed sustainable products, so to have the ability to take a stand that isn't just thrown away at the end of a show, and that next year or the year after we may reuse, is very important to us.
Mark Penny, Energy Solutions (UK)Energy Solutions | Exhibition Stand Design
This exhibition stand design has a great impact in the hall. It utilises a peninsular, open-3-side layout, which allows the high-level branding to stand front and centre. By bringing one of the walls forward, our client created a dynamic look, rather than a flat display. Backlit features and infographics also highlighted key information on the graphics. QR codes allow for paperless exhibiting as an additional sustainability initiative.
Bollfilter

Bollfilter provides filtration solutions and expertise, specialising in automatic self-cleaning filters for the marine industry, among many others!
At Seawork 2025, we had a lovely chat with Bollfilter’s Head of Filters, Paul Horton, who spoke about the growing emphasis on sustainability within the marine industry.
Especially in this industry, sustainability now is a big driver for everyone; reuse and recycling of materials but also the products. It's the only way forward really.
Being able to reuse the stand and tweak it as we go - show dependent - is very important for us.
Bollfilter | Exhibition Stand Design
This stand always has a great impact at the shows. It’s dynamic, bold and most importantly, clear! The high-level branding stands above competitors for visibility, and an edge-lit acrylic creates a unique point of interest. Like Energy Solutions, this company brought elements to the front of the stand and used low-level plinths to add variation and interest.
Bollfilter has used variations of this stand four times, across editions of Seawork and the Water Equipment Show! Here are some other examples of the exhibition stand in action.
Watermota

Watermota is a marine and industrial engine and equipment supplier, established in 1911, specialising in custom-made engine units and propulsion solutions for commercial vessels and industrial applications.
We had a lovely catch-up with James Wyatt, the Managing Director of Watermota, who highlighted the importance of green initiatives and sustainable practices in the marine industry.
We wanted the stand to be designed so we were able to reuse it. It is important for the marine industry to be as green as possible. So, we don't want to be having something every year that we have to dispose of. So having that reusability and taking it to different shows as well is really good for us and also, it makes it better as an investment.
James Wyatt, WatermotaWaterMota | Exhibition Stand Design
This exhibition stand design is very popular for its bright finish. Not only is this exhibition stand positioned right at the entrance of the hall for visibility, but it also stands at 4m tall, guaranteeing visibility and traction.
The exhibition stand features the classic “WM” motif through backlits and cutouts on the exhibition stand. This detail always garners attention! The stand also features an edge-lit showcase, adding a touch of luxury!

Closing Thoughts: A Sustainable Exhibition Stand Partner
Seawork 2025 was such a vibrant and exciting show to attend. It was wonderful to hear directly from our clients about the importance of sustainability in the marine industry.
