Next Show–Coventry Building Society Arena

Executive Hire Show, the ultimate location for tools, equipment and plant hire, is returning to the Coventry Building Society Arena for its 20th anniversary this February.

The event, which unites independent hire companies, national hire operators, equipment fleet managers and construction and engineering professionals, is set to make its greatest impact yet, with a new rebrand, an upgraded programme and a significant expansion of the Innovation Trail.

Exhibition Stand Design

The Executive Hire Show is a valuable event for the industry, but with equipment taking centre stage, you have to design strategically to stand out.

Height is your greatest asset at events like the Executive Hire Show, as it allows you to position your branding above the clutter of the machinery. At standard trade events, we recommend strategically limiting the high-level to include only core branding, ensuring visual weight. However, in machinery-heavy shows, where there is a lot of visual stimulation on the show floor, it can be beneficial to place a simple tagline up high, alongside core branding.

Likewise, if you’re displaying machinery or complex products for hire, you need to signpost well. Stands that include both heavy machinery and information can look very busy, and products very often feature complex names that are difficult for visitors to remember. It’s worth using QR codes and NFC tags to share more information, while maintaining visual balance on the stand.

If you have machinery but cannot bring it to the event, make the most of integrated AV setups. If you don’t have machinery, you can make the most of additional graphic landscapes to communicate who you are and what you do! Both SMEs and industry stalwarts can benefit from professional exhibition stand design advice when preparing for this event.

FAQs

  • Do people bring their equipment to the Executive Hire Show?

Yes, many people bring equipment to the Executive Hire Show. With hire companies and executives looking to procure, update, and order tool, plant, and equipment fleets, there is a lot of equipment at the event. However, not every company is offering equipment, so while common in the hall, not all stands will feature machinery.

  • Best ways to gain traction without equipment at the Executive Hire Show?

If you aren’t exhibiting with machinery, you have an advantage in terms of graphic space and messaging, but could benefit from thinking of creative ways to draw people to your stand. Incorporate screens and AV into the stand design, alongside interactive elements to entice guests. Position friendly staff in busy aisles to spark conversations, and if you want visitors to stay for a long time, consider offering beverages to give them a reason to stay a little longer.

  • Which are the biggest companies exhibiting at the Executive Hire Show?

While not all exhibitors have confirmed, major exhibiting brands usually include JCB, Kubota, Hilti, Makita and Husqvarna UK.

  • What sectors and domains does the Executive Hire Show cover?

Sectors and domains at the Executive Hire Show include Access & Lifting Equipment, Plant & Construction Machinery, Power Tools & Accessories, Power Generation & Management, Lighting, Heating & Ventilation, Groundcare & Specialist Equipment, Surface Preparation, Digital & Software Solutions, Site Welfare & Environment, and Compliance & Safety.

  • What is the maximum stand height permitted at the Executive Hire Show?

Build heights and regulations will be displayed in the exhibitor manual, which should be made public at least 6 months before the show date.
