The Parenting & Wellbeing Show
The Baby & Toddler Show is a large, bustling marketplace and exhibition, providing a unique opportunity for businesses to connect with over 80,000 end-users and parents. Conversations at the event move beyond casual interest, into genuine, trusted connections.
When designing for this show, it is important to consider the event’s scale and audience. Even with their wider aisles, the buggies and sheer number of people make this event very busy. It’s worth adjusting the position of branding to sit high up on your back walls, ensuring visibility above the crowds.
While raised floors are commonplace in many exhibition halls, they should be reconsidered at The Baby & Toddler Show. The floors are a tripping hazard on the best of days, but in such a busy hall, with expectant mothers and buggies, they’re simply not worth the risk, nor the accessibility block. On this note, stands should be kept clear, with products mounted wherever possible to keep the floor clear and easy to navigate.
An important but often forgotten factor to consider is that the show has a large number of expectant mothers. If you’re planning to demonstrate your products, ensure comfortable seating is available so they can focus on your offerings.
The Baby and Toddler Show takes place across five different venues in the UK throughout the year. Individual travel advice is dependent on which event you are attending.
The Baby & Toddler Show showcases a variety of essential products for pregnancy, babies, and toddlers, including travel gear, nursery furniture, feeding supplies, and clothing, from major brands and boutique suppliers.
Products include buggies, cribs, mattresses, highchairs, bottles, weaning equipment, maternity wear and baby apparel.
While not all exhibitors have confirmed for this year’s events, top brands usually include industry leaders, such as Maxi-Cosi, Silver Cross, Bugaboo, and Aptamil.
The Baby & Toddler Show is smaller than The Baby Show, focusing on localised shopping and essentials for early years. The Baby Show is the UK’s largest and most well-known pregnancy and parenting event.
There is significant crossover between the brands and audiences at this event. Though many find that The Baby & Toddler Show’s slightly smaller size makes it better for facilitating meaningful conversations.
The Baby & Toddler Show primarily covers the pregnancy, baby, and toddler consumer market, focusing on:
