DPRTE, the home of defence procurement and supply chain engagement, is taking place at Farnborough in March 2027.
Created to support defence buyers, suppliers, innovators, SMEs, prime contractors and government stakeholders, the platform provides a central destination for news, market intelligence, procurement opportunities, events and industry insight.
Exhibition Stand Design
DPRTE gives exhibitors direct access to Ministry of Defence (MOD) decision-makers and targeted buyers within the UK’s multi-billion-pound defence marketplace. When brought face-to-face with an audience so ready to invest, it’s vital to have a professional display, especially for start-ups and SMEs.
Your stand serves as the face of your company. If it looks professional, prospective buyers will have more trust that you have the capital to support long-term partnerships.
Clear messaging, a well-designed layout and visuals, and height to add visibility do a lot of heavy lifting at this event. Visitors want to understand who you are, what you do, and what your credentials are, at just a glance. If you have products or software, it is advantageous to include a demo station, either self-guided, or featured in a meeting area for more in-depth conversations.

FAQs

At DPRTE, exhibitors display innovative products, technologies and services focused on defence procurement, operational readiness and the wider supply chain.
How does DPRTE compare to DSEI?
DPRTE and DSEI are both major UK defence events, but they serve different purposes. DPRTE is a one-day event, aimed at helping SMEs understand how to win public sector defence contracts. DSEI is a global exhibition held at Excel London, showcasing military hardware on a global stage, drawing international delegations, foreign buyers and tier-one prime contractors.
Which are the top businesses exhibiting at DPRTE?
While not all contractors are confirmed, major names usually include BAE Systems, Thales, QinetiQ, and Moog.
When should I register to exhibit at DPRTE?
Registration for DPRTE Expo 2027 is already open, and space fill up quickly, so it’s worth booking as soon as possible.
Can I use the same exhibition stand for both DPRTE and DSEI?
Yes, many Quadrant2Design clients use the same exhibition stand at DPRTE and DSEI, sometimes reconfiguring or changing one or two panels to keep content targeted and relevant to the event.
Insight
Hear how Quadrant2Design clients have conveyed credentials at relevant industry events.
We wanted a high-impact stand, one that drew the eye and one that got our brand messaging across very strongly, and what we have here has certainly delivered it.
The defence sector is quite a conservative one by its very nature. And so you've got a lot of grey, white, blue… a lot of reserve, if you see what I mean. We're lucky. We can afford to be a bit more rebellious, and so, for us, black, red, you know, strong colours, a vibrant impression is the way to go. We've had good feedback.
We've done shows before where we specified a custom-built stand which was fully made of plywood, wood, what have you, and at the end of the show they just got the hammers out and smashed it to bits, and I don't think that's the way to go. It's not. There's a better way of doing it. This is only a temporary thing. It only needs to be up for 5 days, and then we can reuse it
