Karl Abraham, the Sales Manager at Addis Housewares, recently visited our offices to view his purchase exhibition stand and learn how to build it ahead of the upcoming exhibition calendar.

About Addis Housewares

Addis Housewares is an international, independently owned company with a 244-year history in the design, manufacture and supply of housewares, including the invention of the toothbrush and artificial Christmas tree.

Purchasing an Exhibition Stand

Addis Housewares opted for our Purchase-to-Self-Build service plan, meaning the company owns both the graphic panels and the hardware for the stand. This option is great for businesses that exhibit frequently in a variety of locations.

When customers purchase an exhibition stand, we provide comprehensive training at our studio in Poole, alongside continued professional support and easy-to-follow training videos.

This plan worked very well for Addis Housewares, which plans to exhibit in the US and will launch its new stand at The Inspired Home Show 2025 in Chicago, which has a worldwide attendance!

The Stand Design

Karl was particularly pleased with the exhibition stand design, which met the team’s vision. He shared:

As you can see it is really fresh, vibrant, bright. It is everything that we hoped it would be. We're extremely pleased with it - the look is fantastic.

The Build Process

Karl shared his surprise that the exhibition stand was quick and easy to build! It helped that our lovely installer Greg shared all of his expert tips and tricks! Karl shared:

How quick and convenient it was was a surprise. [...] Being here and seeing the little tips and tricks, and having that sort of expertise to show us how to do the stand was beneficial, definitely.

Sustainability

Karl expressed that Addis Housewares works hard each year to have a low carbon footprint. By using a reusable stand, Addis is able to save energy and waste. Quadrant2Design exhibition stands are also highly compact, so they are low energy and easy to transport. When taking the stand abroad, even using air freight, this helps keep costs low.

Looking Forward

Karl was really pleased with Addis Housewares’ purchase exhibition stand, and we were happy to hear how welcomed he felt at our studio in Poole. The team is now kitted out for their upcoming calendar, and well-equipped with training for the stand build. If Addis Housewares ever wants to reconfigure its modular exhibition stand or incorporate new panels, they can do so with our Lifetime Free Design service.

I’m pleased to say that everything went very well, and our on-site team were very happy with the exhibition stand. In particular, they said how the new graphics freshened the stand up and made a big difference compared with the last show we did.
Regarding my experience this time; as usual, the timelines provided were clear and well managed throughout. Communication from our project manager and the wider team was also consistent and reliable, which of course made the process clearer from start to finish.
Overall, it was another positive experience, and I appreciate the work from everyone involved.

- Very quick and professional turnaround as we were on a tight schedule to get everything sorted for CNE 2026
- Excellent communication
- Understood the design and look that we were trying to achieve

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you—there’s been a lot to catch up on in Dublin following the show.
Overall, I was very pleased with the exhibition stand, and it received great feedback from both colleagues and visitors.
We have provisionally booked a similar exhibition space for next year, so we are hopeful the stand can be reused in 2027 without the need for a redesign.
