It’s a new year and the start of another already busy exhibition season! This past week we welcomed Joanna from Mycronic to Quadrant2Design Headquarters for our first pre-build visit of 2026.
Mycronic is a Swedish-based company that develops, manufactures and markets production equipment that meets the electronics industry’s high demands for precision, flexibility and efficiency. They are heading to Southern Manufacturing this February at the Farnborough International Exhibition Centre, where they will be exhibiting with their Quadrant2Design custom modular exhibition stand for the third year in a row. This year, they have updated some panels on their stand ahead of launching their new 3D AOI programming software, GEN I™, at the show.

At Quadrant2Design we were one of the first stand design and builder contractors to offer our clients a pre-build visit to view their fully built stand and remain one of the few who insist on pre-building every stand to show-ready standards, regardless of whether clients visit or not.
Pre-building the stand offers an invaluable opportunity for both us and our clients to check that everything is perfect and as imagined. 3D renders offer great insight, but nothing beats seeing the stand in person. We also schedule pre-builds with enough time to rectify anything that doesn’t feel quite right before show day.
We really wanted to see how it works because, of course, we saw all the panels in print, but we did not see how it was going to look. We were imagining it. Coming here and seeing everything looks fantastic, professional, neat and tidy, exactly as we planned and discussed, really gives you great confidence!
