This week in pre-build, Jessy Morrison, one of our lovely CAD Designers, gives a tour of Hootyballoo’s party-themed exhibition stand.

We are thrilled to share this pre-build as the Hootyballoo stand is a fan favourite in our office, especially among some of our younger staff members. Join us for a sneak peek of the features in this party-themed stand!

About Hootyballoo

Hootyballoo, a brand by Club Green, supplies all things party and celebration! The brand is focused on crafts, decorations and parties, providing fun, unique and sustainable products to the UK market.

The Exhibition Stand Design

Club Green envisaged their stall as a party shop, rather than your stereotypical business stand. The original design was brought to life in 2022, however, Club Green has been making the most of their reconfigurable stand, adding panels as needed to keep branding current.

This stand perfectly mimics a shop layout featuring fascias and zigzagging walls that create an immersive shop aisle effect. The bespoke showcases also lend themselves to the “shop” look, as each wall features a new range of products.

Design-wise, the stand is different to many of our other projects. Where Quadrant2Design is usually renowned for high-impact seamless graphic landscapes, this stand instead utilises a simple pastel palette, allowing products to shine through and elevate the final look!

The Hootyballoo stand is a great example of Quadrant2Design's innovative technical and design capabilities. With its one-of-a-kind structural elements, eye-catching aesthetics, and beautiful party products, the stand always brings wow-factor.

Two Brands, One Stand

Fun exhibition stand for Hootyballoo & Fiestas Guirca at Spring Fair by Quadrant2Design

The team didn’t stop at surprise parties, they also had a surprise brand on their stand, Fiestas Guirca, selling fun and wacky party costumes. Despite having very different brand colours and styles, the high-level branding, structural design and confetti photo-floor tied each brand together for a unified final look!

It was a huge success, and we had so many positive comments on the branding and the stand.
Someone did actually go to the show on Friday and did a 10 minute video interview with Jerome about the stand and our experiences, so hopefully they have everything you need.

I’m pleased to say that everything went very well, and our on-site team were very happy with the exhibition stand. In particular, they said how the new graphics freshened the stand up and made a big difference compared with the last show we did.
Regarding my experience this time; as usual, the timelines provided were clear and well managed throughout. Communication from our project manager and the wider team was also consistent and reliable, which of course made the process clearer from start to finish.
Overall, it was another positive experience, and I appreciate the work from everyone involved.

- Excellent communication
- Understood the design and look that we were trying to achieve

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you—there’s been a lot to catch up on in Dublin following the show.
Overall, I was very pleased with the exhibition stand, and it received great feedback from both colleagues and visitors.
We have provisionally booked a similar exhibition space for next year, so we are hopeful the stand can be reused in 2027 without the need for a redesign.
