Having just launched their consumer website in March of this year, Ocean Classic has had a very busy and very successful year.
Fiona Asson, Marketing Executive at Ocean Classic explains, “We have spent the last six months developing the consumer site, adding new products and making sure that our pricing is spot on. As we are part of Ruskim Seafood group, a bigger seafood company which has its own fish processing factories, we benefit from economies of scale and are able to offer a huge choice of seafood products at unbeatable prices.”
To raise awareness of the Ocean Classic brand and to showcase their vast selection of produce, the company exhibited for the very first time in November. An ultimate day out for foodies, the BBC Good Food Show Winter was the perfect place for Ocean Classic to take the plunge into exhibiting. The show offered an appetising mix of independent, artisan food and drink producers, bands, stages and a sensational Supertheatre, where an unrivalled line-up of top chefs cooked live on stage.
Exhibiting at The BBC Good Food Show was a great chance for the company to promote their newest product; the ‘Fish Box’. The first in the Fish Box range is the ‘Thai Red Fish Curry Box‘– which contains all the ingredients needed to easily cook up a delicious Thai curry, and delivered free of charge.
Fiona is excited to have exhibited at the winter show and is confident that the show was a huge success for the brand: “We were able to engage with potential customers so they understood how they can order fantastic frozen seafood at our unbeatable prices. We also had some great offers on the day along with a competition at the show to win a mixed Fish Box to the value of £25 delivered to your door. I think this was a great incentive for exhibition attendees to visit our stand.”
Following their attendance at the BBC Good Food Show, Ocean Classic is looking forward to taking part in the Christmas Food Festival at Greenfields in Telford on 6-7th December.
With a full programme of food festivals to exhibit at, Ocean Classic already have a busy schedule planned for 2015. Their adverts in the BBC Good Food magazine contain exclusive offers for readers, and by January they will be adding a series of healthy recipes and products to the website to kick start the New Year. The company even purchased their very own Prestige exhibition stand to be able to stand out and look professional in the exhibiting industry. The stand is designed using a modular expanding frame solution, which means that it is able to be re-configured to be used at many different events.
It is certainly evident that Ocean Classic is making a huge impact within the seafood industry and is set to have an exciting new year ahead. To find out more about the company, visit their website at www.oceanclassic.co.uk, or visit them in Telford at The Christmas Food Festival in December.
