At credential-based shows like the International Security Expo 2025, a strong presence is vital. Businesses spend considerable time making sure everything is absolutely perfect, and thanks to pre-build, our client, Nedap, couldn’t have been more prepared.
In a recent pre-build visit, Damian McCann, Sales Manager at Nedap Great Britain, joined us at our studio in Poole to view the exhibition stand, built in full. The day not only allowed Damian to quality-check the stand, but also served as a dress rehearsal, enabling the team to test products and get a feel for the size of the stand before the event.

Nedap is a global company with Dutch roots. We work with the UK arm of the Nedap Security team, which specialises in access management, in the UK’s high-security, critical national infrastructure.
Attending the International Security Expo 2025
The International Security Expo takes place each year at Olympia London, uniting those working at the highest levels of global security. The 2025 event was held from September 30 to October 1.
The event brings together top security manufacturers and suppliers from around the world to showcase the most innovative solutions, solve security challenges and provide high-quality insights.
Viewing the Stand Ahead of The Event
Damian and the team were firm about the value of pre-build. Our renders are technically accurate and serve as a great representation of the final look; however, the size of the stand and its functionality as a 3D structure can only be truly understood in person. Visiting pre-build turns the conceptual grasp of the stand into a concrete, tangible understanding of its look and functionality. Nedap had made changes to this stand since their first exhibition in April, so the team was excited to see the new configuration.
Damian shared:
We'd had a couple of amendments made, and we just wanted to come in ... just to make sure that everything was perfect. It's all in situ as it's going to be at the show. You could see photos, ... draft designs, but to actually see it physically, walk around it, lit up with our equipment in place, everything working and moving, ... I would certainly recommend to come down and have a look with it in situ.
This dress rehearsal was particularly beneficial, as this stand features mounted products, which could be tested ahead of the event. Leaving these touches to the event day can be a little risky and introduces room for error. By trialling everything ahead of time, the Nedap team was well-prepared, and products were set to be the star of the show.
Feeling very Welcome
It was lovely to hear that the Nedap team felt very welcome when visiting Quadrant2Design and found inspiration in our showroom. One of our Directors, Andrew Carney, always says that clients who visit pre-build end up with better exhibition stands, and it’s becuase these clients gain a full understanding of the system and its capabilities!
It's always interesting, fascinating to come in these places and see the types of stands you're building and the types of companies that you know you're working with. It's great. We always get a nice warm welcome. Adam's with me today and he's not been here before, so he had a tour around as well just to see the different departments and how you guys work.
Show Day - International Security Expo 2025
The International Security Expo 2025 has now come to a close, and Nedap looked brilliant. The lighting features on the stand drew attention, the height ensured visibility, and the floor tied the entire look together.

We were really pleased to see the Nedap team in pre-build, and are looking forward to seeing their stand reconfigurations in and throughout 2026. Here was some final feedback from the team.
I've not done a lot with show design, stand designs before in the past, so the concept of being able to have it built and then you store it and look after it was new to me. But, it seems like a fantastic business model. Come down to Poole, and start working with Quadrant2Design!
