MSA Manufacturing show off their bamboo bicycle at The Composites Engineering Show

Following the firm’s strong performance at last year’s event, the team decided to attend The Composites Engineering Show again in Birmingham. This year the company is keen to show off their work in producing the Guapa Urban One, a bicycle built out of bamboo and flax.

The Composites Engineering Show is the UK’s only dedicated annual trade show for the composites materials, moulding and processing industry.

The 2014 show is set to be the biggest yet with over 200 dedicated composites exhibitors and around 50 contributing speakers.

The Guapan Urban One is a prime example of the work MSA Manufacturing is used to producing.

Guapa Cycles is the product of brothers Tom and Harry William who wanted to produce the world’s most highly engineered wooden bicycle.
The pair enlisted MSA Manufacturing to assist with the production of the bicycle.

MSA are exhibiting at stand number G181 in hall 5 where they will have a copy of the Guapa Urban One on display. The show runs from the 11th – 12th November and is located at the NEC in Birmingham.

The firm chose to exhibit with The Prestige Events System from Quadrant2Design.

The system allowed the firm to reconfigure their stand for different stand space and reuse their graphics without having to invest in further equipment.
