Not another Merry Christmas (and Happy New Year) post.
Despite everything that 2020 has thrown at us, one thing’s for sure – nobody will ever forget this year. And with just a few days left before we welcome a new one, Quadrant2Design wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a hopefully much happier new year.
Like you, our inboxes are full of emails wishing us a Merry Christmas and thanking us for all our support over the past year. We thought long and hard about what we wanted to say to you this Christmas.
Then we realised, Quadrant2Design haven’t had a bad year at all. Yes, our industry has been shut down and we are still waiting for an official restart date. We have everything crossed for Q2 2021 but until Boris gives the word, our guess is as good as yours.
However, our team don’t like twiddling their thumbs, waiting for stuff to happen. We’re in the exhibition industry after all! It’s always full steam ahead.
So rather than thank you for your support, tell you how tough the year has been and wish you a Merry Christmas – we want to show you how much progress Quadrant2Design have made in 2020.
But where do we start?
2020 was the year we built websites, launched products and welcomed Pip the pug. Our Marketing Manager, Ross, had his first baby and (rumour has it) he’s already a pro when it comes to large format graphic design. Our team has expanded to include Web Developer Mark, who is helping us achieve momentous milestones. It’s been a crazy, exciting year.
Fixed Price Exhibition Stands
This year we launched fixed price exhibition stands, designed to transform any small space or shell scheme. The beauty of this product is that you can design an exhibition stand yourself – in three quick and easy steps. Once you have designed your stand, you’ll receive a quote. No hassle. No waiting. Just great-looking exhibition stands.
Black Robin Exhibits
We also had a look at our product – the Prestige Events System. While we do not doubt that we offer the best modular exhibition stand system on the market, we know that some of our customers need different display solution to make their brand stand out.
That’s why we’ve launched Black Robin Exhibits under the Q2D umbrella. Black Robin Exhibits is your one-stop-shop for literature stands, pop-up displays, branded counters and more. We’re really pleased with how the eCommerce site turned out, make sure you go and have a look!
Every business has its golden moments. Particular jobs that stand out and everyone enjoys working on. One of ours was building the brand activation display that the Bank of England used to launch the new £5 note at Blenheim Palace.
We’ve always wanted to do more jobs like this. We’ve worked with huge brands like Mark Hill and Tesco to create structures for product launches and events. This year we’ve had the time to make this dream a reality and have launched an additional site dedicated to brand activation displays.
Our marketing team have been working around the clock to make sure you’re kept in the loop with all things Q2D. With everything going on, the last thing you should be worrying about it is your postponed exhibitions.
All of their hard work paid off when Feedspot listed the Quadrant2Design blog in their list of Top 100 UK Blogs to follow. Watch out Eventbrite and Vuelio – we’re coming for you.
Finally, in true round-up fashion, we have a secret project that we can’t tell you about yet. Expect some more info early 2021. This one is big. Bigger than everything we’ve told you about so far. And we’re so excited that some of us have already let slip. Get your detective hat on and head over to our LinkedIn if you can’t wait to find out.
Merry Christmas, Thank You & A Happy New Year
So yes, thank you. Thank you for continuing to support us. You’ve all made it very clear that you are just as excited to get back to exhibiting as we are. If you want to get a head start on your 2021 exhibiting calendar just get in touch – we’re ready when you’re ready.
But most importantly, a huge thank you to the Quadrant2Design team who have pulled together and made all of this happen during such a difficult year. It would have been easy to give up and close our doors until we had a restart date, but it’s the team who work tirelessly to keep Q2D moving forward that deserves a thank you.
With all that being said, go and stuff your face with pigs in blankets, roast potatoes and turkey. We all deserve a wonderful Christmas this year, even if it’s not the day we were expecting.
From all of us at Quadrant2Design, Merry Christmas.
