Join us for a first look at our 360° Virtual Showroom Tour!
What is the 360° Virtual Showroom & Tour?
The 360° Virtual Showroom has been designed for clients to take a tour of a temporary showroom we created in our pre-build area. Clients can tour the space independently or alongside one of our expert design consultants.
We have a permanent showroom, however, we wanted to do something on a grander scale, so used our pre-build area for the virtual tour. it would have been easy to assemble a collection of some of the thousands of stands we have designed over the years. But instead, we wanted to focus on reuse, the benefits of our reconfigurable solution, and Free-Hire Pro Plan. With this in mind, we focussed on one brand, Retinoid Aesthetic, and their successful calendar of events, journeying throughout Europe, and eventually into the US.
There are four stands in the virtual showroom, each designed for different strategies at a variety of shows. The stands include unique features and design elements. They also highlight how the Prestige Events System and our service plans add value across an exhibition calendar.
Why is the Tour Important?
Now that you understand what the tour is, let’s get into why it’s important.
It is no secret that clients who visit our offices tend to have the most impressive exhibition stands. They understand the true quality and potential of our exhibiting solution and how to use it to their advantage. This is why the virtual showroom is so important. It would be ideal if every one of our clients could experience our showroom in person, however, we understand this is not always possible, especially as many of our clients are based abroad. With this virtual tour, we are thrilled to bring the fantastic benefits of visiting our office, to all our clients.
Andrew Carney, Quadrant2Design Director, shared:
We know that when prospective new customers visit our design studios and showroom and see the whole building and all of our operations, they end up with a better stand because they understand our solution's possibilities and capabilities much better.
The Retinoid Aesthetic project enables us to take our operation, building, and people to our customers rather than having them come to us!
-Andrew Carney, Director
When we designed the virtual showroom tour it was really important, we could take clients on an exhibition journey across a calendar of events – with each stand having evolving requirements.
Our team of experienced Design Consultant’s can now take potential clients through a case study that explores why and how we do things differently and the value our business model affords them.
– James Vicefield, Marketing Manager & Curator of Tour
A Case Study on Reuse
In an industry that is saturated with waste, Quadrant2Design is unique, with a business model that is 100% centred on reuse. And, it’s worth remembering, reuse trumps recycling!
At Quadrant2Design, reusable stands are not a sideline to tick a sustainability box, rather, they are the only exhibiting model we offer. With this direct focus, we have created an exceptional custom-modular solution, unlike any others on the market.
On this tour, we showcase not only our building, library of parts, and stands but also the art of reconfigurability, which makes our solution so valuable to customers. Visitors can tour three exhibition stands that reuse various components and one complete rebrand.
We are outliers in the exhibition industry – we use a proprietary solution, only design and build reusable stands, and do it all ourselves without subcontracting any service. We forge a relationship with clients built on our commitment to reconfigure and develop their stands for future events.
– James Vicefield, Marketing Manager & Curator of Tour
Free-Hire Pro
To further sustainability, remove the stress of exhibiting, and provide great cost-savings, Quadrant2Design offers the Free-Hire Pro plan.
80% of our clients opt for the Free-Hire Pro Plan. It’s the smart choice. Free-Hire Pro allows exhibitors to invest in graphic panels while hiring the stand hardware for free! It includes Project Management, installation and dismantling, logistics handling and a full pre-build for a completely hassle-free experience. We even store graphic panels between shows free of charge.
Free-Hire Pro exhibitors save up to 60% on the cost of future events. The tour includes illustrative pricing for a series of reconfigurations at a variety of venues.
Preparing for the 360° Shoot
Preparing for this tour was no small feat, but fortunately, we have outstanding fantastic project managers in-house!
We also enlisted the talented Will Pearson from Eye Revolution, to capture and stitch this tour. Eye Revolution provides outstanding virtual tours and has worked with the likes of the Royal Household, 10 Downing Street, Apple, Jaguar, Land Rover, The BBC, and The Bank of England.
Our teams also designed each of the stands, showcasing some of our favourite features and installed the stands in the pre-build area. We think it stands up to the tour of Buckingham Palace!
Designing the Stands
One of the first questions we ask when designing a stand is “How do you want your stand to work for you?”. Designing stands for Retinoid Aesthetic was no exception. In this tour, each stand was designed to complement and support a specific strategy.
- The largest stand is designed for a high-impact market entry in B2B spaces.
- The second stand is created for a consumer event and maximises product display space to boost sales.
- The third stand has been rebranded for a show focused on natural and sustainable beauty.
- The final stand is designed for the United States and fits into more restricted pipe & drape spaces.
Reconfiguration Examples
These exhibition stands serve as a case study on reuse, however, they also offer insights into reconfiguration. When viewers select a stand, they will be shown examples of reconfigurations that do not involve purchasing additional graphics as well as Free-Hire Pro pricing for various venues.
In the exhibition industry, it is unusual for contractors to offer such transparency on prices, however, we understand how useful it can be to have a benchmark. It’s worth noting that every stand at Quadrant2Design is custom-designed and bespoke, so no two quotes will look identical. We hope these case studies provide insight into what you could achieve within your budget, as well as the affordability and flexibility this plan offers upon reinstallation.
All of our service plans include Lifetime Free Design so stands can be redesigned to fit new spaces and layouts at future shows – without charge.
