Last month, Maggie and I were lucky enough to attend The London Coffee Festival, at the Truman Brewery in Shoreditch.
The caffeine-fuelled celebration, which took place from the 14th – 17th of May, is the ultimate hotspot for coffee enthusiasts. The event featured two dedicated industry days and a weekend full of artisan coffee, gourmet food brands, interactive workshops and demonstrations from world-class baristas. We have to say, we had a fantastic time!
In this video, we invite you inside the festival, where we caught up with business owners and exhibitors about the unique value of the event and discovered what keeps visitors coming back year after year.
The Community
It was clear from attending the London Coffee Festival that the event is truly brought to life by its community!
The creativity, energy and vibrancy that make the event so enjoyable and unforgettable stem from the incredible people who participate.
At Quadrant2Design, we attend countless shows each year, spanning a wealth of different industries, and it is rare to find a community that adores their industry event quite this much.
We caught up with one business, who has been exhibiting now for over 10 years, and every year has found the event to be the most valuable space for innovation, discovery and connection within the coffee industry.

This is the biggest event for us, because it is not just about showcasing coffee, but connecting with an entire coffee community. Talking about coffee, talking about Colombia and sharing that experience with everyone... it's absolutely amazing every year.

A Valuable Platform
For many businesses, The London Coffee Festival is a landmark event in the calendar, serving not only as an opportunity to meet with the community engagement but also as a hub for innovation, discovery, and education. It’s the perfect place to explore the UK’s favourite coffee flavour profiles and the latest matcha trends, equipping businesses and distributors with valuable insights and knowledge for the sales year ahead.
It's great. I've been coming here now since 2015 / 2016. It's always a great show. Everyone that's in the coffee industry comes here. Some really, really nice drinks, innovations. It's just nice to catch up with people and see what's going on in the scene, and it's always a super time.
Stephen Hastwell, UeshimaA Growing Show
One thing that was clear at the London Coffee Show was that the event has moved far beyond just a celebration of coffee, to more of a global celebration of café culture!
It was interesting to see how much the café industry has really exploded. From fresh matcha, canned beverages, probiotic sodas and creative blends and creations to some of the most amazing artisan bakes and croissants that Maggie and I have ever tried, the event had a diverse range of offerings.
They should call it the London Plant-Based Milk Festival, London Matcha Festival. It's not just coffee, it's everyone doing everything in the café space!
George Blurton, OatlyA Spotlight on Hermanos
One of our favourite parts of the London Coffee Festival, was catching up with own client, Hermanos, an award-winning Colombian coffee roaster, as they exhibited with their beautiful Quadrant2Design stand.
Our goal with this stand design was to capture Hermanos’ warmth, vibrancy and Colombian heritage, so that visitors feel truly immersed in the brand and Colombia.
The stand was a huge success. Visitors were captivated by the colours, moving elements, and of course the coffee flavours.
Adnan, the Co-Founder of the brand reflected on the stand’s impact:
The stand has been super amazing. It stands out and people see it and this is the first time that we've worked at the London Coffee Festival with a good, curated stand that reflects our brand identity of being colourful, vibrant and expressive. It worked really well for us!

A Wrap on The London Coffee Festival
We had a wonderful time at the London Coffee Festival 2026. It was amazing to catch up with our client, Hermanos, and to talk with exhibitors about the value of the show. Of course, the tasters, coffee samples and artisan creations made the trip all the more memorable!
