London Packaging Week 2024 has once again set the standard for the future of packaging. The eagerly-anticipated show kicked off at ExCeL London on Wednesday the 11th of September.
The show hosted 190 exhibitors, pushing the boundaries of design, sustainability, and luxury, and attracted over 1,000 visitors and delegates.
This event not only showcased stunning packaging solutions but also emphasised the importance of presenting your brand in a sustainable, impactful way.
What was the show like?
Exhibitors absolutely loved the show. With great visitor attendance, a vibrant atmosphere, and fantastic lead-generating opportunities, the London Packaging Week 2024 was a success.
Is it Important to Have a Sustainable Stand?
Sustainability may have once been an added benefit for packaging, but it’s now a non-negotiable – shaping and driving the industry. With the rising importance, these values must extend to the exhibition stand.
Emily Bartlett, Sales & Marketing Director at Simply Cartons & Simply Luxe, highlighted the increasing importance of eco-friendly practices:
We actually spend more time talking about sustainability now than we do about the aesthetics of Carton!
How do Modular Stands help with Sustainability
Modular exhibition stands are the most sustainable exhibiting solution on the market. Since the stands are easy to install, dismantle, pack, and transport, they can be reused time and time again for beautiful, sustainable exhibiting.
Moreover, the stands do not have to look the same each time. They can be reconfigured to suit different spaces or sizes, with panels added or rearranged as needed for a fresh look every time.
Mark Steven from Richmond Containers explained the usefulness of modular stands
It helps our sustainability commitments. The stands are very flexible. We've adapted the design from year to year. Even down to using the same graphic panels - the flexibility has been great for us.
High-Impact Stands at The Show
Quadrant2Design had several clients at this year’s show, and all were thrilled with their stands. In a design-driven industry, having a great stand is crucial to attracting attention and standing out.
This is where custom-modular stands and expert designers come in. Stands support sustainability values, and host bespoke features that boost visibility, compliment products, catch attention and maximise return on investment.
Let’s take a look at some of the stands with insights on each design.
Insights on the Designs
Marber
Marber exhibited with high-end gift packaging and accessories. The stand design was intended to create an inviting space with vibrant, illuminated showcases to highlight star products.
Lucy Ordidge, the brand’s Director, particularly liked the pops of colour in the showcases, and how they made her products stand out.
The team’s favourite feature was the backlit rotating header which ensured all visitors could see Marber throughout the hall.

So happy, yes…All four of us when we turned up yesterday thought WOW. We love it.
Richmond Containers
Across the hall, Richmond showcased premium, sustainable packaging for skincare and personal care.
We spoke with Mark Steven, from Marketing, who shared the thoughts behind the stand visuals.
The stand design is based on the idea that white space sells. The use of white space is common in luxury branding, allowing key messaging and quality to shine.
Richmond applied this same logic to its stand, with a bright, clean and minimalist design.
Though simplistic in colour, the stand commanded attention and drew eyes to high-quality products with double-sided, illuminated showcases.

Our design team went for a really clean, minimalist design, which is absolutely in tune with our brand. It’s got to be on-point for quality, and the print quality and finish just does the job perfectly for us.
Simply Cartons & Simply Luxe
Another innovative brand at the show, Simply Cartons & Simply Luxe, designed its stand around innovation and creativity.
People are visually driven and make quick judgments based on a brand’s appearance so it’s vital to make an impact.
Their stand not only emphasised product quality and sustainability but also grabbed attention with impactful lighting and a bold, red photo-floor. This feature extends the graphics to the floor, offering more branding space and completing the look.
Different plinth heights also added visual interest, making the stand dynamic and engaging.

Montagne
Montagne’s Founder, Anne Marie, brought her versatile packaging to London Packaging Week 2024, showcasing elegant, luxury packaging.
Anne Marie shared that she spent over a year searching for a stand designer who could bring her ideas to life. After all, great designers, recognise other great designers, and her dedication paid off with a stand that captured the essence of her brand.
Before the event, Anne Marie had the opportunity to view her stand in person, flying all the way from Atlanta to attend her pre-build day. Quadrant2Design ensures every stand is pre-built for quality control, which allowed Anne Marie to be confident that everything was flawless.
Her ‘less is more’ approach resulted in a youthful, product-focused stand with luxurious champagne-coloured showcases.
Strategic lighting, both above and below the showcases ensured her products were the centre of attention throughout the show.

We've had great responses. In fact, one of the show owners told us, 'they thought our booth was one of the best at the show.' We were really excited about that!
Falconer Print
Falconer Print has been exhibiting at the London Packaging Show, with this stand for 5 years!
Quadrant2Design exhibition stands are designed for longevity, and this stand truly looks brand new.
We caught up with Colin Pow, Sales and Marketing Director, who was impressed with how well the stand represented their products and branding.
The numerous showcases, created with a towerfix feature, allowed Falconer Print to display a wide range of packaging solutions, and high-level branding ensured they captured attention across the event.

Monro Limited
Monro Limited, a luxury packaging specialist, celebrated its 40th birthday at the London Packaging Week 2024!
Stuart Goddard, from Monro, shared his appreciation for the Quadrant2Design stand, especially its showcase capabilities, flexibility and luxurious feel.

We love our stand, it's not the biggest, but it shows the kind of business that we are. It stands out, it's luxury!
Summing Up
