Working at Quadrant2Design | Glass Door Review | May Sangthong

I studied my Masters degree in Event Management at Bournemouth University. This is actually my first job in the events industry, having worked in the finance sector beforehand.

I’m a Senior Project Manager here, which basically means I look after the logistics side of the project. This can range from organising the installers to go out on the jobs to liaising with clients and helping them solve any queries.

My role really keeps me on my toes because each job has its own challenges, it adds a bit of excitement to the role. When there happens to be an issue on site or similar I enjoy using my problem solving skills to find a solution.

I’ve learnt to be more confident and assertive; to not to be shy if there’s a hiccup. I’m able to adapt my nature to get the desired outcome that’s best for both the company and the client.

The best thing about working at Q2D, which I can really rave about without any hesitation are the people here. Everyone in each department are just there for you whenever you need them, and if I had to for fun I would love to swap jobs with one of our CAD Designers. I love learning something new and want to be able to understand how our Prestige system really connects and comes together.

  • What’s the best thing about working at Q2D?

The best thing about working at Q2D, which I can really rave about without any hesitation are the people here. Everyone in each department are just there for you whenever you need them.

  • What’s your biggest achievement to date- personal or professional?

I’ve always worked hard and this has allowed me to buy my own home and fulfil my own timeline that I set out for myself. Plus I also got a distinction for my Masters!

  • If you had to swap jobs with anyone else in the company who would it be and why?

I do like the sound of Graphics- like being a graphic designer in the sense that you can be creative. But if I had to swap job roles it would be with the CAD team. I want to be able to understand fully how the Prestige systems connects and comes together.

  • When you’re not working what can you be found doing?

Watching vlogs about designer handbags on youtube.

  • Tell us something that we don’t know

I used to do Thai  classical dancing, it’s more common now but I used to travel all around the UK performing at Thai festivals.

  • Coffee or tea?

Coffee in the summer, but tea in the winter to keep me warm. Anything from Jasmine, Green tea, Ginger or Camomile.
