Reconfigurable stands are versatile and can be rearranged to suit different stand configurations, but in order to make the most of the flexibility, your team will need to know how to build them.

Most exhibition contractors offer comprehensive exhibition stand training as part of their purchase process. However, if the stand has been designed for a specific show, you might only be trained on one initial configuration.

Here are a few things to consider –

• Work with your design consultant to pre-plan your configurations, so that you can receive professional training for more than one event. You could do this in one set chunk, or throughout the year on as and when need it basis.
• Bring more than just your stand-build team for training. This way, you can ensure there’s extra capacity and a broader understanding of the technical aspects of the build, which can be valuable if team members leave or transition to other roles in the company.
• Conduct a full pre-build ahead of the show, and practice the various configurations.
