Maggie's Show Visits
This month, Maggie and Lara attended the UK Food & Drink shows 2025, where they interviewed a range of exhibitors about the value of the show!
While attending the show, Lara also caught up with our clients, who reviewed their exhibition stands!
The UK Food & Drink Shows were also a significant part of a record-breaking month for Quadrant2Design, where we installed 29 stands in just four days, exclusively using our highly experienced in-house team! The event took place at the same time as another key event, the Safety & Security Event Series, which was also held at the NEC.

A Month in Pre-Build
Quadrant2Design pre-build has been absolutely bustling this month in preparation for April, May and even June 2025 exhibitions. Usually, a large proportion of these stands would have been built in January; however, with IFE taking place just two weeks before The UK Food & Drink Shows, and many of our clients attending both events, pre-build was extremely busy. Here’s a glimpse of Lauryn’s monster spreadsheet, which helped with all of the logistical planning!
Black & White Bridging
Among the 35 stands that were pre-built in April, Black & White Bridging joined us for exhibition stand training on their new purchase. The team thoroughly enjoyed their training with us and loved their stand, which went above and beyond their expectations.

April was challenging for many businesses, as Trump’s tariffs were implemented across the board. These changes sent businesses into crisis, searching for alternative supply chains. Our recent article explores trade shows as a viable solution.
Our second exhibition advice article is for businesses that benefit from exhibiting in a range of industries, but don’t know how to approach their exhibition stand design. Trade shows are so often sector-specific, which is great if you are a packaging manufacturer at PPMA, but not so great for companies that serve a broad range of businesses, rather than a narrow selection.

Our third and final advice article details everything you need to know about exhibition stand lighting. The creative use of lighting can be overlooked in exhibition stand design, but with effective use, it can play a fundamental part in making a stand eye-catching and memorable. This April, we feel we have raised standards for sustainable stand builders. It has been wonderful to see how our methods and in-house teams ensure outstanding results, even during the busiest periods. The feedback has been glowing, and bookings for future shows are already coming in!
