The Ricoh Arena in Coventry has a variety of halls and conference rooms, and with a floor space of 20,000sqm it is suitable for small and large exhibitions.
Located in the heart of England, and only 800 yards from the largest motorway network in the UK, the Ricoh Arena proudly boasts that it is only a 2-hour car drive away for 75% of the country’s population.
The venue’s largest hall is the flexible Ericsson Exhibition Hall with a capacity of 12,000 at 6,000 sqm. With a retractable wall, the hall can be divided into 4,000 sqm and 2,000 sqm. Visiting the Ricoh Arena
Situated in the centre of England, the Ricoh Arena is one of the most easily accessible exhibition centres in the country.
Being only 800 yards from junction 3 of the M6, within easy distance of the M1 and the M40, makes the Ricoh Arena one of the best exhibition venues to drive to in the UK. After leaving the M6, simply follow the A444 onto the Phoenix Way and follow the signposts to the Ricoh Arena. The Postcode for your satnav is: CV6 6GE.
With its very own train station, the Coventry Arena station, it is also very easy to reach the Ricoh Arena by rail. Being only 10 minutes away from Coventry’s main train station, which has direct trains to London, Manchester, Birmingham and Birmingham Airport, means getting the train to the Ricoh Arena is incredibly straightforward.
Famous for being home to the rugby team Wasps and Coventry City Football Club, as well as its award-winning exhibition centre, the Ricoh Arena has been a catalyst for regional regeneration since it opened in 2005.
Built on the site of the Foleshill gasworks, the exhibition venue originally opened under the name the Jaguar Arena. But when the luxury car manufacturer was forced to pull out due to commercial difficulties, the Japanese sponsor Ricoh came to the rescue and paid £10 million for the naming rights.
The first exhibition events held at the Ricoh Arena were the Pixel Trade Show and the Solus Garden & Leisure Show.
The venue was bought out by Wasps rugby club in 2014, and since then they made major investments to evolve the Ricoh Arena into one of the UK’s leading multi-purpose venues.
As well as a 121 room Hilton hotel, the site also includes a casino and entertainment lounge, should you wish to unwind with a post-exhibition game of roulette or poker or take in a show.
