I don't know about you, but I'm always fascinated to read client reviews! Particularly so, if I'm involved in buying a high-value, sophisticated service or product (like an exhibition stand).

Exhibition stand design and build services at Event City, Trafford Centre, Manchester.
The award winning EventCity is Northern England’s largest exhibition venue and hosts regional, national and international events. The Peel Group invested £23 million into EventCity to ensure it had all the facilities necessary to deal with the footfall.
The venue has been home to huge events like Tattoo Tea Party and The Baby & Toddler Show. It has built a reputation for itself as one of Britain’s leading venues and is renowned for its accessibility and sustainability.
The large, modern box space makes the perfect site for events of all sizes, including gala dinners and business meetings as well as trade shows and industry exhibitions. EventCity is comprised of four halls which can be combined to make larger, flexible spaces.
Our team have built hundreds of stands at this venue, so it’s safe to say we can help you out when it comes to exhibiting at EventCity.
One of the advantages of visiting an exhibition at EventCity is that it has 2,000 free parking spaces for visitors and a further 15,000 free spaces within walking distance. The venue is located close to the M6, M62 and M56 (and just two minutes away from the M60). If you are travelling by car using satellite navigation, use post code M17 8AS.
If you are travelling by rain, EventCity is no more than a twenty minute drive from any of Manchester’s central stations. There is direct bus links from Piccadilly Gardens Bus Station or Manchester Victoria and the closest train station is Urmston.
There are two international airports located within an hour of EventCity:
Travelling to this venue couldn’t be easier.
EventCity has a rich cultural background which gives you all the more reason to visit. It began its life as part of the de Trafford estate, owned by the family who named the area.
In 1921, the land was bought by the Manchester Ship Canal Company. They intended to develop a new dock, but that never happened. Instead, the land was built on by the Ford Shadow Factory in 1941. The factory opened in May and manufactured engines for the Lancaster Bomber and Spitfire – it was bombed in the same month it opened.
Following the closure of the factory, the site that was destined to become EventCity was occupied by a number of global businesses such as Argos and Manchester Tobacco Company. With each new owner, the warehouse was extended to become a 28,000 m2 space. And the rest is exhibition history…
You’re in Good Hands
Having built hundreds of stands here our team know their way around EventCity Manchester. We have attended exhibitions and events there with clients such as Cloudstuff and Platinum Property Partners. It’s definitely one of our favourite venues in North England!
One of our favourite things about this venue is how easy everything is for our professional installers. Hall 3 is so large we can drive our sustainable vans straight through the backdoor, making setting up the custom modular exhibition stand even faster and easier.
Everyone at Quadrant2Design love the atmosphere at EventCity. It’s a city within a city and we always have a great time there. We are looking forward to designing installing more of our unique design features, like the curved counter tops and the cut corner showcases Platinum Property Partners used at the British Franchise Exhibition.
