The Speciality & Fine Food Fair is one of the most highly-anticipated shows in Europe. Each year, the show transforms Olympia into a vibrant marketplace, showcasing the leading brands of artisanal food and drink!
This year’s event, which took place from the 10th until the 11th of September, demonstrated dedication to sustainability. Organisers offered discounts to those with reusable cups, made water fountains readily available to save on plastic, and encouraged the use of modular, sustainable exhibition stands.
Standing out at the Speciality & Fine Food Fair
In a show as vibrant as the Speciality & Fine Food Fair standing out can be a challenge. Exhibition stands don’t necessarily need to be the loudest, but they do need to communicate a message and the brands’ differentiators clearly, especially in a show where specialism is so important.
High-Impact, Sustainable Food & Drink Stands
Quadrant2Design only designs and builds modular, sustainable exhibition stands; more specifically, custom-modular. These stands are custom-designed, yet reusable. They utilise a modular system consisting of a durable aluminium frame, enveloped by gorgeous graphic panels that host typography, images, branding, logos and bespoke features. The best part? The stands are reconfigurable and can be rearranged to suit different stand spaces and sizes.
Let’s take a look at two of our stands from the show!
Rare & Pasture and Tempus Foods

Rare & Pasture and Tempus Foods is an award-winning, traditional charcuterie and smokery, based in the heart of South Devon. The brand exhibited at the Speciality & Fine Food Fair with its classic charcuterie range, and a new combined range that included smoked and cooked products like frankfurters, pastrami and paté. The Smoked Beef Pastrami actually won the fair’s ‘Not Yet on the Shelf’ Award!
This sustainable exhibition stand perfectly encompassed and showcased Rare & Pasture’s brand. With a smokey base colour and real-life images of the outstanding charcuterie products, the stand couldn’t have conveyed the message any clearer.
Even in a hall as vibrant and busy as Olympia, high-level branding made certain that Rare & Pasture could be seen.
Gadsby

Gadsby is the leading supplier of hamper baskets, gift packaging & retail displays. Though not directly a food supplier, what better accompaniment for your artisan food than a beautiful hamper or high-end packaging?
Like Rare & Pasture and Tempus Foods, Gadsby’s stand communicates and differentiates the brand quickly and effectively. You can see this stand towers over competitors with clear and effective branding – completely unmissable in the hall. Strategic showcase lighting also makes sure products are the star of the show!
The stand features one clear tagline – “Supplying high-quality, sustainable gift packaging since 1864”, showcasing expertise and specialism.
