The Forecourt Show is the UK’s largest event for the forecourt and fuel market! The event unites top suppliers and distributors across all field types, vehicle care and convenience retail. For symbol groups, independent forecourts, oil companies and dealers, this is the must-attend event within the industry.
The Forecourt is a fundamental part of the UK Food & Drink Shows 2026. The event is biennial, alternating each year with Fodex Manufacturing to run alongside National Convenience Show, Food & Drink Expo and Farm Shop & Deli Show. As a whole, this collection of shows offers a comprehensive platform for the UK’s food and drink industry. Join us as we explore the value of the event and share our favourite exhibition stand examples to use as inspiration for your 2026 event.
Visiting the Forecourt Show
The last edition of the Forecourt Show was held in 2024, and our team was lucky to be able to attend and discover what makes the event so valuable to its industry.
About the Forecourt Show
The Forecourt Show is the UK’s most valuable trade event for the forecourt and fuel industry, taking place this year from the 13th to the 15th of April. Not only is it the largest trade-only event for the industry, but it is also positioned as a part of the UK Food & Drink Event series, gaining valuable cross-pollination from the National Convenience Show, Food & Drink Expo and Farm Shop & Deli Show.
Last year, we had the pleasure of meeting with Jessica Lilley, the Marketing Manager at Gulf Oil, who spoke highly of the event! She shared the following feedback:
We couldn't not be here, to be honest! In our industry, it's the main show that we have every two years, so we love having a presence here, and we love having a big stand.
Jessica Lilley, Gulf OilExhibition Stand Examples and Inspiration for the Forecourt Show 2026
The Forecourt Show welcomes some of the industry’s most well-renowned players, such as Gulf Oil, Shell and Essar. With these great players in the hall, the bar is raised in terms of design.
Larger companies tend to invest more in their exhibition presence, usually focusing on well-designed, brand-first displays that reinforce their position in the industry. With this in mind, it is worth investing more thought into your strategy at the Forecourt Show to create a professional and distinctive display!
Gulf Oil - Creating a Point of Difference
Gulf Oil had a brilliant exhibition stand at the last Forecourt show, focusing on clear brand identity, engagement and visibility within the hall. This stand had a great impact, due to a combination of features, design elements and strategic decisions. Let’s get into the details.
This stand focused on brand-led design, utilising the colour scheme and layout to mirror the Gulf Oil forecourt, to make the display instantly recognisable to visitors. It can be a challenge to stand out in busy events like the forecourt show, but Gulf Oil did it perfectly, incorporating a range of different features, such as the custom rotating header and edge-lit acrylic in the showcase, to make a point of difference on the stand.
Gulf Oil took its forecourt feel a step further, featuring a Gulf-branded F1 car to create a simulation on the stand! Not only was this a great conversation starter, but it also reinforced brand memorability following the event.
Jessica Lilley, Marketing Manager at Gulf Oil, reflected on the design at the show:
