About the Farm Shop & Deli Show
The Farm Shop & Deli Show plays a crucial part in the UK Food & Drink Shows, focusing exclusively on local, high-quality and regional produce. With less than half of the food in the UK sourced domestically, this event plays a vital role by providing a platform to support local businesses.
Exhibition Stand Examples and Inspiration from the Farm Shop & Deli Show
Food and drink events are always among the busiest and most competitive of exhibition halls, so exhibitors have to put a little more time than usual into shaping their event appearance. Here are some of our favourite stands from last year’s events, with details on their strongest elements.
Cotswold Cardillo - Focus on Local Roots
Cotswold Cardillo nailed this event, with a stand that focused on and showcased their local roots. This setup takes a completely brand-first approach, prioritising brand colours and logos to emphasise their tie to the Cotswolds!

Rare & Pasture | Tempus - Focus on Local Quality
Locally sourced meat is often favoured as the animals receive a better quality of life, the meat is fresher, and is usually of a much better quality. Rare & Pasture | Tempus tapped into this ethos and communicated this philosophy through their storytelling on the graphics, showcasing luxury meats and healthy cows to nod to their high-quality traditional charcuterie meats. The imagery, combined with the rich gold hues in their logo, creates a beautiful, luxury-looking stand.

Jersey Dairy - Vibrant, Memorable Colour Theme
Another stand that really stood out to us at Farm Shop & Deli was Jersey Dairy, which used its beautiful, vibrant colour palette to stand out from its competitors. To complement their lovely palette, Jersey Dairy used their screens to share videos of their happy, healthy Jersey cows!

Tips for Brands at the Farm Shop & Deli Show
At shows like the Farm Shop & Deli, we always recommend digging a little deeper into your story as a business. When events prioritise local supply chains, it is important to emphasise your personal story, business history and team. These create a point of difference from others in the hall and make you appear more trustworthy and honest. Don’t be afraid to put your team and imagery onto your graphics, as it will help with visual storytelling.
Additionally, consider sustainability as you plan your exhibition stand design. Local brands are often expected to be more conscious of sustainability. With this focus on eco-friendly practices, there is greater pressure to exhibit under a sustainable banner and showcase sustainable packaging.
Lastly, there really is no better way to sell speciality foods than through the flavours and tastes! Make sure to bring your best samples to share!
