Solar & Storage Live UK 2024, the UK’s largest solar energy exhibition, just came to a close at the NEC, Birmingham following 3 days of success!
The exhibition showcases global market-leading solar and storage solutions, and technologies for Residential, Commercial & Large-Scale Utility projects. This show brings together innovators and disruptors, to discover the technology needed to drive the UK’s energy transition.
Since Solar & Storage Live is completely dedicated to fostering sustainable solutions, exhibitors must extend sustainability to their stand. Exhibiting sustainable solutions under an unsustainable, one-use banner, would not sit right with the buyers at this show.
Let’s look at three sustainable stand designs at the show: Envevo, Ethical Power and Success Connections.
How Was The Show
According to exhibitors, this show was amazing. From the high visitor attendance, brilliant networking opportunities and experts in the field, exhibitors highly recommend Solar and Storage Live UK for the future!
What makes These Stands Sustainable?
All three of these stands are modular – the most sustainable exhibiting solution on the market. The sustainable solution features a reusable aluminium framework, enveloped by high-quality, reusable graphic panels. Since modular stands consist of separate components, they are easy and light to transport, simple to assemble and dismantle, and can be used time and time again.
Quadrant2Design only offers modular, or more specifically custom-modular stands. Custom-modular exhibition stands come with all of the benefits of modular stands – they are reusable, reconfigurable and use a modular system. However, custom-modular stands are also able to host bespoke features. Each stand is unique and designed completely to the customer’s specifications and vision.

Ethical Power

The stand has a clean and modern design, focussing on sustainability and renewable energy solutions. The brand name “Ethical Power” is visible throughout the hall, displayed clearly on high-level branding. The stand features a leaf-shaped backlit logo, reinforcing the sustainability motif, running throughout the stand design and extending to the showcases.
To communicate its dedication to sustainability, Ethical Power used graphics to share the company’s key sustainable milestones! Also, with a strategic design, Ethical Power hosted not just one, but two private meeting spaces for converting leads.
Success Connections
Success Connections is a NERS registered ICP providing several services to companies looking to get their project connected to the National Grid.
This stand design is simple yet clear and effective. A crucial design element for visibility is the high-level branding on this stand. Complimented by a backlit logo, this feature ensures Success Connections is visible across the hall.
Clear communication is a vital part of any exhibition stand design. Visitors should never have to work too hard to figure out what you do, and on this stand every service is made clear immediately. Highlighted using backlit icons, the left-hand graphic wall communicates the specialism. The right-hand wall hosts a TV for further service explanations, and relevant imagery to catch attention. The design also included a small meeting area and a clear reception point to help convert leads and guide visitors to the experts.
Envevo
Envevo is a leading ICP and EV ChargePoint installer serving commercial clients across the UK The brand offers a full turnkey service comprising connections to the grid, civil engineering services, and full installation of electric vehicle chargers.
The Envevo stand is clean, professional, bright and memorable! You can see Envevo towers over competitors with 4m high-level branding. Effective use of graphics space means that every message on this stand serves a purpose, communicating both the benefits and sustainable benefits.
Envevo’s classic logo was realised on edge-lit acrylic, creating a “floating logo” effect. This eye-catching feature draws people in and fits with Envevo’s modern look and innovative charging solutions. To further this aesthetic Envevo used bright showcases with overhead lighting, making products the centre of attention!
Looking Forward
Through modular stands, Solar and Storage Live UK 2024 was able to show the best renewable energy solutions, without compromising sustainability. We love seeing the Prestige Events System cater to a range of different visions!
