Julia’s House had a hugely successful night last Saturday with their Summer Butterfly Ball held at the beautiful Canford school.
The event was to raise money to support Julia’s house families.
Julia’s House Wiltshire and Dorset Children’s Hospices provide practical and emotional support for families caring for a child with a life-limiting condition.
Just under £70,000 was raised, an impressive £10k up from previous years.
We received great feedback from Julia’s House this week and we hear they are already planning the next ball.
The night was packed with lots of fun games, prizes, and auctions.
Including a great present wall idea:
Delegates could purchase any present from the wall for just £10 and your gift is a lucky dip.
Prizes range from a posh meal for two, to a Julia’s house pen.
Take your pick and cross your fingers!
The menu for the night looked divine!
Local produce and fine cuisine from Molecular Magic Creative Catering had our mouths watering.
We provided a small Prestige stand to be used as photo and video backdrop for the event.
It was lovely to meet Linda and Melissa when they visited us to collect the stand before the ball.
Our social media correspondent, Amelia was thrilled when she heard we were working together:
“I’ll never forget the day I visited Julia’s House.
My Grandma was a foster carer to many children over the course of more than 25years.
On one occasion we were invited to an open day and had the chance to look all round Julia’s House and learn about what they do.
The help and environment they provide for those in need are second to none!”
Well done Julia’s House and congratulations on everything raised through your hard work.
Best wishes from everyone at Quadrant2Design.
