HB Ingredients win best small stand with a cool custom modular

And the award goes to…

Our customers know our stands are great but it’s always nice when someone else recognises it. That’s exactly what happened yesterday at the Yorkshire Event Centre. HB Ingredients got in touch to let us know that they were awarded the Best Small Stand Award at the Ice Cream and Artisan Food Show.

HB Ingredients is the largest independent chocolate couverture distributer in Europe. They’re into more than just chocolate. With 34 brands under their umbrella, you can expect to find a range of delicious treats including ice cream and coffee.

The Ice Cream and Artisan Food Show is every ice cream lover’s dream.  This unique show allows you to taste a massive assortment of ice cream flavours. Imagine Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory but for ice cream. As well as ice cream, the expo also showcases various types of equipment and machinery to the thousands of retailers, suppliers, caters and manufactures who attend.

HB Ingredients had a 6X4m peninsula space. They already had one of our custom modular stands from a previous show and wanted to take advantage of our Free2Hire plan and our Lifetime Free Design promise.

We redesigned and printed three new graphic panels and HB Ingredients were happy to reconfigure and reuse the other parts of their exhibition stand. This is a great example of real-life sustainability in exhibiting and, judging by the award, still produces great results.

This stand was great fun to work on from beginning to end. The brief was exciting as they wanted to highlight three of their delicious brands:

  • Caffé Kenon
  • Joygelato
  • Rubicone

To us, that meant creating an all-round ice cream, coffee and pastry shop. The design team had the fun job of creating graphics and building an immersive ice cream parlour experience. Winning the Best Small Stand Award shows just how much the design team enjoyed working on HB Ingredients exhibit.

To bring the look together and create this award-winning stand we designed and printed a unique photo-floor that resembled tiled flooring. The graphics included a matte brick effect and glossy branded panels. The contrast added to the parlour experience, enhanced by the coffee machine grinding beans in the background and the ice cream cones on offer.

Exhibiting is the only opportunity you have to fully immerse a uniquely targeted audience into a fully-branded experience. HB Ingredients took advantage of this opportunity, and by the looks of it, they’re having a hugely successful show.

We’re all chuffed to bits for HB Ingredients and looking forward to working with them on many more stands to come.
