We recently had the pleasure of working with an amazing local charity, MYTIME Young Carers, to create two new banners in support of their upcoming events.
Join us as we talk with Tim Sills, the Head of Fundraising, as he shares a little about MYTIME’s heartwarming mission, their upcoming fundraising opportunities, and the value of their banners, which they received as a donation from our charity printing program.
About MYTIME Young Carers
MYTIME Young Carers is a Dorset-based charity that works hard to support young carers aged 5-25, offering activities, respite, and skills development to improve their wellbeing and future.
Young carers are incredible individuals who juggle the responsibility of caring for a family member or loved one alongside their schooling, college, friendships or daily life. With this additional responsibility, these young carers often miss out on many experiences that others their age have. MYTIME is fighting to change this, levelling the playing field for young carers and ensuring they receive the opportunities, friendship and support they deserve.
Upcoming Fundraisers & Activities
MYTIME participates in a range of fundraising events and activities to raise money, bring awareness to their cause, and highlight the important role that young carers play. Their banners play a key role in these activities, and they also add a branded presence at their Making Memories Days, helping them to draw attention to their mission.
Following a recent brand update, with new logos and fonts, and with a significant fundraising event, the annual MYTIME Young Carers Ball, approaching at the Hilton, MYTIME needed some shiny new banners to represent them. After hearing about our charity printing service, Tim reached out, and we were so excited to get involved!
There's so many events that we go to, where if we put up a banner like this, where they stand out so well, with the quality that they are, it just helps bring so much awareness to who we are.
It creates conversations, it creates connections, and ultimately leads to use identifying and spotting more young carers, but also getting our name out there in the community.
The MYTIME Young Carers Ball
The third annual MYTIME Young Carers Ball has now taken place, and it was an incredible success. Guests enjoyed a black-tie 1920s dress code, a glowing reception, a three-course dinner, live entertainment and a range of fundraising activities.
Held on the 14th of November at the Hilton Bournemouth Hotel, the charity ball raised an outstanding £47,000 for young carers, surpassing all previous events!
Supporting the Local Community
