Britain’s biggest boating festival, The Southampton Boat Show, is back, from 10-19 September 2021. The Southampton Boat Show is an on-water boat show, one of the largest in Europe and the biggest of its type in the UK. The show is held annually in September in Mayflower Park, Southampton. Cancelled last year due to the pandemic, the 52nd International Boat Show was relaunched with a few changes.
This year promises to be bigger than ever, with new features and more space. The show features everything the leisure marine industry has to offer. Ranging from paddleboards to superyachts, and all the products and services you need to enjoy life in, on or around the water – you’ll find it at the show. The event features new zones tailored to Watersports, Dinghy, Classic & Day Boat and On The Water activities and the Festival Green is perfect for relaxing and soaking up the atmosphere. You can also take a trip on a tall ship or experience paddle boarding or kayaking.
Bournemouth based exhibition stand contractor, Quadrant2Design, have been busy installing 2 stands at the show, for ASAP Supplies and Aquafax.
ASAP Supplies is one of the UK’s largest stockists of marine equipment and spare parts, offering over 12,000 stock lines specialising in products for maintenance, repair and overhaul requirements.
Their stand (J342) features high level branding to draw attention and integrated LED lit display boxes showcasing some of the products they offer.
Sister company Aquafax are distributors of marine and industrial equipment. They supply all sectors of the marine industry, from marine engineers to the largest boat builders.
Their stand (J230) is one of the most challenging Quadrant2Design has ever done. It features high level branding and a lot of integrated display boxes showcasing their products. The flooring has been a talking point of the show as they opted to have an eye-catching photofloor featuring a stormy sea image. This has really attracted the attention of visitors so is a great addition to the stand.
Both companies have received a lot of visitors during the opening weekend of the show. The nice weather encouraged plenty of attendees who weren’t put off by the requirement to produce a negative Covid-19 test result, a condition of entry. The show was opened by the gold-winning 2020 Olympic sailing team who chatted to members of the public and sponsors during the first day.
Aquafax are running a daily prize draw for visitors to their stand, with a chance of winning goodybag of Oxford Mint boat cleaning products worth over £75.
Commenting at the show, MD of Quadrant2Design Alan Jenkins said ‘We have relished working with ASAP Supplies and Aquafax for this year’s Southampton Boat Show. We are pleased with the end result and wish them a successful show’.
Both ASAP Supplies and Aquafax praised Quadrant2Design for supplying ‘outstanding service and helped bring our visions to life’.
