At Quadrant2Design, we always encourage our clients to attend a pre-build and see their exhibition stand fully assembled before the event. Viewing your stand completed and ‘show ready’ offers reassurance that everything looks exactly as expected and that there will be no unforeseen issues when you arrive at the show. Just as importantly, a pre-build provides the opportunity to test product placement, check demonstrations fit correctly, and ensure the overall flow of the stand works well for visitors.
This was certainly the case when we welcomed A365 Limited to our Poole headquarters ahead of their upcoming exhibition at Ambiente in Frankfurt, Germany.
I think it’s really important to be able to see the stand before you arrive at the venue."
Guy WeaverA365’s Visit to Quadrant2Design
A365 Limited specialise in the design, development, sourcing, supply, and sale of a diverse range of household consumer products, including electrical appliances, homewares, and garden products. With a strong portfolio of innovative items to showcase, it was essential that their exhibition space supported both product presentation and practical functionality.
Guy and his team travelled to our Poole headquarters to take part in a full pre-build and training day for their custom modular 4x3m exhibition stand. Built using our Prestige Events System, the stand was designed to be both visually impressive but still straightforward to assemble, allowing the A365 team to self-build their exhibition stand confidently at the show.
We’re not engineering people; we’re not carpenters or electricians and Greg’s done a brilliant job of basically showing us how easy everything is to put together."
Product Display Testing on Self-Build Exhibition Stand
Throughout the day, our experienced installation team guided A365 through the complete build process, ensuring they understood each stage of the installation. By the end of the session, the team had gained valuable hands-on experience and the confidence to recreate the stand independently in Frankfurt.
Once the structure was assembled, Guy brought in a wide selection of A365’s latest product launches that were intended for display at Ambiente. This stage of the self-build proved particularly valuable. Having the opportunity to position products within the finished stand allowed the team to make informed decisions about layout, spacing, and presentation.
It’s really great to come and build it in advance so we know where everything goes, we know the product fits."
By physically placing their cookware and household products into the display cases, A365 could determine exactly how many items were needed to create full and impactful showcases. They were also able to assess what size display stands were required to support the staged kitchen cookware, ensuring each product was presented securely and attractively. This practical exercise removed guesswork and provided clarity ahead of shipping products to Germany.
Ensuring Performance
A365 is one of many clients who have taken advantage of our pre-build facilities to test their products within their stand environment. For businesses showcasing physical products, especially those requiring bespoke mounts or specialist display solutions, this stage is invaluable. It bridges the gap between design concept and real-world functionality, ensuring every element performs as intended.
