Last week, from the 4th until the 6th of February, Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2025 took place at the Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre. The show always has a strong impact on the manufacturing and electronics industries, and this year was no exception, with over 500 exhibitors and 9000 visitors throughout the 3-day event!

We are pleased to have had 6 brilliant stands at the event, for GEM Cable Solutions, Electronic Technicians, TFC Europe, Southern Springs & Pressings, Jauch Quartz and Mycronic.

About Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2025

Southern Manufacturing & Electronics is one of the UK’s largest industrial exhibitions, bringing together manufacturing, electronics and technology professionals. The event showcases the latest innovations, offering buyers a chance to source cutting-edge technology and solutions.

Exhibition Stand Design

Last year, Maggie caught up with Chris Billenge who shared the importance of a great stand at this show. Let’s get into each of our stand designs from 2025!

Electronic Technicians

Striking exhibition stand for Electric Technicians by Quadrant2Design.

The Electronic Technicians exhibition stand, with its bold colours and lighting elements, set the bar high for Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2024.

This stand is designed with networking as a key focus, with a large counter to serve as a reception point and high-level branding to ensure visibility. Lockable lit showcases ensure products are displayed effectively while keeping valuable products safe!

TFC Europe

Amazing exhibition stand for TFC by Quadrant2Design

TFC Europe’s exhibition stand follows suit, with 4m high-level branding for visibility! The brand uses strategic messaging on graphic panels to convey key messaging and draw in passersby.

Southern Springs & Pressings

Just across the hall, Southern Springs and Pressings let their graphics tell the story, making the most of Quadrant2Design’s seamless graphic look with key products and messaging. Quadrant2Design’s panoramic graphic style is ideal for events like Southern Manufacturing & Electronics, as it effectively conveys key messages whilst increasing memorability. This approach is essential in a highly competitive environment where visitors have little time to waste, figuring out what a brand offers.

Mycronic

Myrcronic’s standout colour theme ensures they are always noticeable in the hall. With 4m high-level branding, an open stand design and a fantastic LED wall, Mycronic is bound to catch attention.

Jauch Quartz

With its high-level branding, vibrant colours and luminous pops of colour in the showcases, Jauch Quartz ensured visibility at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics. This stand always stands out from the crowds, but it is particularly impressive next to the neighbouring shell scheme.

I’m pleased to say that everything went very well, and our on-site team were very happy with the exhibition stand. In particular, they said how the new graphics freshened the stand up and made a big difference compared with the last show we did.
Regarding my experience this time; as usual, the timelines provided were clear and well managed throughout. Communication from our project manager and the wider team was also consistent and reliable, which of course made the process clearer from start to finish.
Overall, it was another positive experience, and I appreciate the work from everyone involved.

- Excellent communication
- Understood the design and look that we were trying to achieve
- Quick and efficient at build and break days – stand was ready to go and was dismantled when we arrived with friendly, knowledgeable staff at both the handovers

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you—there’s been a lot to catch up on in Dublin following the show.
Overall, I was very pleased with the exhibition stand, and it received great feedback from both colleagues and visitors.
We have provisionally booked a similar exhibition space for next year, so we are hopeful the stand can be reused in 2027 without the need for a redesign.
